Weston Girls 5 Weeks Old 2/16/08

Greetings from week five! The girls are all settled in to their new accommodations at Banner Thunderbird and have made themselves right at home. Zoie and Madison are now sharing a crib and Audrey will be moving in with them on Monday. Zoie now weighs 5lbs 4oz, Madison is 4lbs 13oz and Audrey follows up at 4lbs 4oz. Otherwise there is nothing to announce, things have been going very smoothly (knock on wood). Krista is pretty much back to full strength and is ready for the little ones to come home but we still do not have an ETA on a discharge date. More than likely it’s going to occur in waves with Zoie coming home first followed by Madison then finally Audrey, that’s just our guess, but we’ll see what happens as that time draws closer.
I hope all is well wherever you are.

Love,
Scott, Krista, Audrey, Madison & Zoie.

Hi there it is me Auntie C. Just posting updated information in regards to the girls some of you received the email from Scott but I have more to add!
On this day 2/16/08 the girls received a visit from Great Grandpa Dean and Great Grandma Janice. We were glad they came down to see them, and glad that they were able to do so. I know that Great Grandma Bonnie watches over them every day.
I was lucky enough to go and visit them with Krista yesterday (2/20/08). I wanted to see them before I leave for Maui. I have now held all three girls and let me just say it is awesome. When we first arrived Madison was off limits as she just ate so the nurse wanted her to rest so the options to hold were Zoie and Audrey and they are good options! Since I had previously held Zoie I chose Audrey and we did good. Kirsta and I were there so long that it actually came time for Madison to eat again so Krista wanted to feed her. Since she was going to work with Madison she handed me Zoie, so I was able to hold Zoie and Audrey at the same time! AWESOME!!!!! I will say though both my arms, back, and legs were sore for sitting there holding 2 babies for like 40 minutes OUCH! Either way it was a good pain. After Krista fed Madison we needed to leave however the girls needed to be changed and such. Krista took Zoie and handed me Madison which completed my holding all of them for the first time :), I am one happy/proud Auntie. I was able to hold Madison and Audrey for like 10 minutes and let me just say they truly are twins. In all of this gloating I forgot to mention that the nurse removed Madison's feeding tube and she is now taking all food via bottle. They are all so beautiful and I can't wait until they go home so I can go see them whenever I want.
I was really glad I was able to go with Krista and also hang out with her for the day we haven't done that in a long while. Her and Scott are also doing very well. Scott of course works Sunday-Wednesday 4-10s and Krista is officially a stay at home mom. They are so happy and you can not only see the glow they share but you can feel it. I like all of you am so happy for them. Anyways I better get to work. I will update with new pictures when I get some. Love Carrie (Auntie C)
